OTI giving back

(ZIZ News) — The ocean terrace inn has outlined its plans to give back to the community through a variety of initiatives.

General Manager, Chris Ghita says they plan to continue their partnerships with the schools and expose them to opportunities within the hotel industry.

“Coming soon the Fisherman’s Wharf might be one of the staging grounds for a weekly event that will see primary and tertiary level students coming to get an understanding of the hotel and what are some of the environmental best practices that we have to abide with and we have to upkeep to make sure that our guests see us as an environmentally friendly destination and as a place to come in the wider Caribbean,” he said.

He said they will also be promoting wellness with a weekly yoga class.

“With that new initiative we really would have considered persons diets, what we offer as authentic cuisine at OTI. So we wanted to blend that in with wellness. To get people more focused on their diet, routine exercises, exercises that would keep them healthier, stronger, see them more energized during the day. We’re really happy about this new initiative,” he said.

The yoga classes will be held every Sunday morning beginning March 27.
