In front of easily the largest crowd of the entire league, Cherry Gardens PJ’s engaged the Gingerland Ghetto Starz.

The scores remained fairly even right into the final moments of the final quarter with both teams taking minor leads up to that point.

The players were urged on by their vociferous supporters from all around the court and in the crucial final moments of the game, each point was greeted with shouts of “Gie dem a Dougie’ or ‘Money in the bank’!

When it mattered most, the PJ’s team members held their nerves and the Ghetto Starz team failed to sink a few critical shots from the free throw line.

When the final whistle was blown by the Kittitian Referee in charge of the game, it was the PJ’s team and fans who went into wild celebrations. The final score line: PJ’s 63 to Ghetto Starz 55
