PM Douglas on CMC’s ‘Newsmaker’ on Sunday with Peter Richards

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JULY 22ND 2011 – The new Chairman of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), St.Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will be featured on the Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC’s) Newsmaker programme this weekend.
CMC’s Administrative Officer, Lori Weatherhead informed the Communications Unit of the Office of the Prime Minister (CUOPM) that the hour long interview with veteran regional journalist Peter Richards immediately after the CARICOM Heads of Government Summit in St. Kitts, will be aired on its Caribbean Channel, CaribVision (Channel 73) on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 6:30 pm.
The programme will be repeated on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 8:00 am and 3:00 pm; Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 7:30 pm and on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 11:30 am.
The St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister took over the chairmanship of the regional integration movement from Grenada’s Prime Minister Hon. Tilman Thomas and will serve until December this year.
