Police capture escapees

St Ann, Jamaica – Police from the St Ann Division yesterday were able to capture two of three prisoners who escaped from the Brown’s Town lock-up in May of last year. The escapees were captured in the Hampstead and Scarlett Hall areas of St Ann.

The third prisoner eluded the lawmen after a shoot-out. A rifle and a homemade shotgun were recovered.
