Police investigating another homicide

ZIZ News…April 14, 2010 – Following up on the recent murders of a Taxi Operator and an elderly couple, the Police is reporting another homicide.

Press and Public Relations officer of the Police Force Inspector Vaughn Henderson confirmed that at around 07.45 last evening a man identified as Edson Jeffers also known as Warner or Elwon of Molineux was shot and killed in the vicinity of Philip’s Village.

According to residents of the area he was found lying on the ground with what seems to be bullet wounds.

Up to news time this morning no one was held accountable for this latest murder which brings to 14 the number of homicides in the Federation.

Henderson told ZIZ News they are carrying out investigations and further details will be issued in a subsequent release.
