Police investigating the second homicide so far in 2012

ZIZ News…Jan 27 2012 – The Police in Frigate Bay are investigating a homicide which took place on Thursday night on the road leading from the strip to the Frigate Bay main road.

Dead is Elvis Stanley the owner of Elvis Love Shack, Bar and Grill while his girlfriend and son was shot and injured.

According to reports while on his way home after closing his business he was ambushed and a lone assailant opened fire killing Stanley and injuring the other occupants in the car before fleeing the scene.

Elvis Stanley who was the driver received a gunshot wound to his head while the other passenger in the front seat was shot in the side. She was rushed to the JNF General Hospital where she underwent emergency surgery while his son who was in the back seat was slightly injured on his leg.

Assistant Commissioner of Police responsible for crime Ian Queely and members of the Criminal Investigation Department visited the scene last night and earlier today ACP Queely spoke with the family of the murdered victim.

Investigations into this the second homicide for 2012 is ongoing.
