Police make arrests: Juvenile to face court on a gun charge

ZIZ News…Aug 28 2012 — The police have made a number of arrests over the past week while one person was given a quick trial and sent to prison.

Dale Hazel of Challengers Village was convicted for the offence of Larceny, committed on 18th August 2012 and sentenced to two years imprisonment with hard labour.

Meanwhile, Derrick Roland of Pond Extension was formally charged for the offence of Assault committed on 24th August 2012 at Cayon Street and a juvenile was formally charged for Assault with a Fire Arm committed on 16th August 2012.

Koran Gethi of Bird Rock was formally charged for Driving without Insurance and Drivers Licence committed on 25th August 2012.
