Police not above the law

(ZIZ)– Commissioner of Police, Celvin Walwyn says officers are not above the law and every complaint against the police is investigated.

He told ZIZ news they conduct internal affairs investigations to police themselves and they follow strict guidelines.

“We take every complaint serious and we investigate every complaint.  Recently we had a police officer who received 25 years in prison for unlawful carnal knowledge,” he said.
