(ZIZ) Joseph Hanley alias Limes of no fixed place abode was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Making Use of Indecent Language, Obstruction Under the Drug Act, Refusing To Give His Name and Larceny which were allegedly committed on 16th October 2013.

Meanwhile; Patnell Isaac was convicted of the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 14th October 2013, and fined $500.00 which is to be paid by 31st October 2013 or in default will serve one (1) month in prison.

Ceather Carey of Stapleton Village was convicted for the offence of Simple Wounding which was committed on 14th October 2013, and fined $650.00 which is to be paid in one (1) month or in default will serve one (1) month in prison.

Javier Isaac was convicted for the offences of Battery on Police, Obstruction and Resisting Arrest which were committed on 20th January 2011, and fined $1500.00 for Battery on Police, which is to be paid in two (2) weeks or in default will serve six (6) months in prison, and there was no further sentence passed on the other charges.

In othernews; Lionel Harvey of Dieppe Bay was convicted for the offence of Larceny which was committed on 10th October 2013 at Pinneys Beach, and sentenced to six (6) months in prison with hard labour.

Steele Douglas of Morning Star was convicted for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention which was committed on 23rd May 2013, and fined $800.00 which is to be paid in three (3) months or in default will serve one (1) month in prison with hard labour .

Chris Brown of Bath Village was convicted and cautioned for the offence of Battery which was committed on 7th July 2013 at Bath Village.

Dijon Amory of Cherry Gardens was convicted for the offence of Larceny which was committed on 22nd January 2013 at Bath Village, and fined $2000.00 which is to be paid in three (3) months or in default will serve one (1) month in prison.

Randolph Drew of Gibbons Hill Dieppe Bay was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was. committed on 12th February 2013 at Dieppe Bay, and fined $800.00 which is to be paid by 8th November 2013, or, in default will serve thirty (30) days in prison.

McKenzie Matthew alias “Kenzie” of Gibbons Hill, Dieppe Bay was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 12th February 2013 at Dieppe Bay, and fined $1,000.00 which is to be paid by 8th November 2013, or, in default will serve thirty (30) days in prison with Hard Labour.

Craig Mason of Parsons Village was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 24th February 2012 at Parson Ground, and fined $1,000.00 which is to be paid by 8th November 2013, or, in default will serve thirty (30) days in prison with Hard labour.

Kurtlyn Walters alias “Chef” of Main Street, Sandy Point was convicted for two (2) counts of Carrying Abroad An Offence Weapon which were committed on 7th April, 2013, and fined $100.00 on each charge which are to paid by 25th October 2013, or, in default will serve thirty (30) days in prison on each charge which are to run concurrently.

William Warner alias “Turkey Bay” of Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of Driving Without Seat Belt which was committed at Halfway Tree on 23rd April 2013, and fined $100.00 which is to be paid by 24th October 2013, or, in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison with Hard labour.

Kelvin Byran alias “Kelly” of Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of Driving The Front Seat Passenger With No Seat Belt which was committed on 10th May 2013 at Sandy Point, and fined $50.00 which is to be paid by 21st October 2013, or, in default will serve seven (7) days in prison with hard labour.

Further; On Friday 18 October 2013 about 7:35 am officers of the Violent Crime Unit (VCU), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and other police officers responded to a report of a shooting incident at New Road Housing Project which left one person hospitalised.

Initial investigation revealed that an armed masked assailant attacked Royden Peets Jr. 24 years of New Road about 7:30 am.
