Police Updates

CrimeSceneD(ZIZ) Sashi Isaac of Ponds Extension was formally arrested and charged for Larceny, which was committed on 25th August 2013.

Janelle Johnson of Herbery Alley, Newtown was formally arrested and charged for Larceny, which was committed between 1st April 2013 and 5th September 2013.

Ozini Byrne of Cane Garden was formally arrested and charged for Driving Without Insurance, which was committed on 6th November 2013.

Meanwhile: Leroy Warner of Bath Village was convicted for the Wounding, which was committed on 19th October 2013, and fined $1000.00 which is to be paid in three (3) months or in default will serve six (6) months in prison with hard labour.

Tonito Willett of Hamilton was convicted for Driving Without Due Care and Attention, which was committed on 25th September 2013 at Cotton Ground, and fined $500.00 which is to be paid with in three (3) months or in default will serve one (1) month in prison.

Kirthley Hanley of Camps Village was convicted for Driving Without Due Care and Attention, which was committed on 5th July 2013 at Pond Hill, and cautioned.

In other news: On 5th November 2013, the Traffic Department responded to a report made of a traffic accident at Flamboyant Drive, Greenlands about 9:40 am which resulted in one (1) person being transported to the hospital.

Initial investigation revealed that the accident involved a pedestrian and motor jeep PA1344 which was driven by Elteva Cuffy of College Housing, Basseterre.

Autopsy Result

An autopsy was performed on the body of late Bryan Liddie of Haynes Smith Village, by Resident Pathologist, Dr. Dora Magdenage on 6th November 2013. The autopsy result concluded that the cause of death was a result of a heart attack.
