Police Updates (February 04, 2014)

ZIZ News — Leroy Marlon Heath of Cardin Avenue was formally arrested and charged for Indecent Language, Disorderly conduct By Making Noise, Resisting Arrest, and Refusing To Give His Name, which were committed at the Basseterre Police Station on 31st January, 2014 about 10:00am.

Audington Syder of Fort Thomas Road was formally arrested and charged for Obstruction, which was committed at the Basseterre Police Station on 31st January, 2014 about 10:54am.

Viere Amory of Ponds Pasture was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis With Intent To Supply, which was committed at Basseterre Ferry Terminal on 31st January, 2014.

Also: The St Paul Police Station is investigating a traffic accident which occurred on Thursday 30th  January 2014 about 4:40pm along the Island Main Road at St. Paul Village in the vicinity of the Methodist Church, which left two (2) persons were transported to the hospital for medical attention.

Initial investigation revealed that motor truck PA4462 owned by the St. Kitts Bottling Company and driven by Raun Morton of Lower Cayon was involved in the traffic accident. Both the driver Raun Morton and passenger Roxanne Smithen of Lower Cayon were injured.

In other news: Officers of The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Crime Scene Unit (CSU) responded to a report that a body was found in a house at Upper Market Street on Friday 31st  January 2014 about 7:25pm.

Initial investigation revealed that 34 years old Leon Henry alias “Big Bread” was found dead at his home by a friend.

An autopsy will be performed on the body to determine the exact cause of death.
