(ZIZ News) — Arrest

Kevon Hamilton was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply, which was committed on 23rd January 2015.

Norman Browne of Phillips Village was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, Possession with Intent to Supply and Obstructing Police under Drug Prevention of Misuse Act, which was committed on 25th January 2015.

Dominic Cramer of Shadwell was formally arrested and charged for Obstruction and Possession of Cannabis, which were committed on 23rd January 2015.

Charles Henderson of Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for five counts of Larceny which were committed on 19th November 2014.

Gavin Browne of Willetes Housing Project, St. Pauls was formally arrested and charged for Murder, which was committed on 13th January 2015.

Court Convictions

District “A” Magistrate Court

Jamari Sutton of Hermitage Village Cayon was convicted for Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition and was sentenced to two years and four months imprisonment on each charge to run concurrently.

Traffic Accidents

Officers of Traffic Department responded to a report made of traffic accident which occurred along Cayon Street, in the vicinity of Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College at 5:15pm on 23rd January 2015. Initial investigation reveals that Motor Jeep P7172 owned by TDC and driven Glenville Jeffers of College Housing Site, exited the stop at Greenlands, travelling west, when he collided into a pedal cyclist named Steve Richards of La Guerite Village. The pedal cyclist was taken to JNF Hospital. Explanations, measurements, damages and injuries were recorded. The pedal cyclist was issued a Medical Examination Form and the driver was served a Notice of Intended Prosecution for Driving without Due Care and Attention.

On 23rd January 2015 at around 7:05am, Officers of Cotton Ground Police Station responded to a report made of traffic accident that occurred along the Island Main Road, in the vicinity of Four Seasons Resort. Initial investigation reveals that Motor Care P 4664 owned and driven by Collin Guishard of Upper Ramsbury was travelling from Charlestown to Sea Bridge, when he reached the address mentioned above, R 426 owned by Dion Ward and driven by Devon Ward of Stoney Grove and Motor Jeep P1956 was parked on the sea side, when P4664 lost control of the vehicle and resulted in damaging the said vehicles and struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road. The pedestrian was transported to Alexandra Hospital for medical attention, where he is stable conditions. Measurements, damages and explanations were recorded. One Notice of Intended Prosecution was served on the driver of 4664.
