Premier and Deputy Premier meet with Reggae Artist

(Charlestown, Nevis-Thursday,August 5th, 2010) Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Joseph Parry and Deputy Premier and Minister of Culture and Social Services, Hon. Hensley Daniel met with Dance hall Reggae Artist, Clifford Smith aka. Mr. Vegas, in separate meetings during the week of the just concluded Culturama festival on Nevis.

Businessman and promoter of the International Night of the Stars show, Mr. Greg Hardtman, accompanied Mr. Vegas who was the featured act.of the show.

While in discussion with the Premier, Mr. Vegas complimented the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) on the bold initiative of going green with the Wind farm and the development of Geothermal on the island.

After meeting with the Premier, Mr. Vegas and his entourage visited Hon. Hensley Daniel, where they discussed the issues of gang activities and crime in Nevis and Jamaica.
