BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 15TH 2013 — National 200m Champion Antoine Adams and Lestrod Roland will be competing in Round one (1) of the Men’s 200m at the 2013 IAAF World Championships in Moscow, Russia scheduled for Friday 16th August 2013.

Roland who ran a personal best time of 20.60 seconds at the OECS Invitational in St. Kitts on June 9th 2013 will be running out of lane one (1) in heat three (3) of seven (7). Adams, the 2013 CAC Senior 200m Champion and National Record Holder (20.13 seconds) will be running from lane seven (7) in heat four (4). The events will be ran at 2:49am and 2:56am respectively Eastern Standard Time.

On Sunday 25th August 2013, a quartet will be competing in the first round of the Men’s 4X100m at 8:50am Eastern Standard Time. Further details including start list and lane assignments will be announced in a subsequent release. At the 2011 World Championships, team St. Kitts and Nevis placed third in this event.
