Prime Minister Harris Expresses Thanks

(ZIZ News) — Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris is thanking the people of the federation for confidence in the government of National Unity since its inception.

Speaking at a town hall meeting in observance of the government’s first anniversary in office, Prime Minister Harris conveyed special thanks to the people of Constituency #7 “to whom I owe a debt of gratitude.”

The Prime Minister in reflecting on Election Day last year, showed appreciation to those persons who assembled in support of Team Unity.

“I say thank you to the thousands who gathered this day last year 2015; the 17th February on Fort Street to rally with Team Unity and to say that nothing shall stop the Team Unity from forming the government,” he said.

The government’s week of activities celebrations, which has been deemed a success so far by Prime Minister Harris, continues on Friday with a peace concert at the Circus in Basseterre.
