Prime Minister Harris says 2016 will be a Bumper Year for Tourism

(ZIZ News) – Prime Minister, Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris is predicting that this year will be a “bumper year for the Federation in terms of tourism development.”

He told the nation that the growth will come as a result of “advances in infrastructure, destination marketing, sports tourism and improved airlift.”

“Two weeks ago, our nation welcomed the inaugural touchdown of United Airlines,” he said as he addressed the nation on New Year’s Day 2016, adding that “This new North American flight adds to the range of international aviation access for the Federation.”

Dr. Harris reminded that United Airlines joined British Airways, USAIR and American Airlines in providing weekly linkages to the North American and European markets.
