Prime Minister Harris Says St. Kitts and Nevis Mourns With France

(ZIZ News) – Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris says St. Kitts and Nevis stands in solidarity with the people of France, in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks that rocked the French capital of Paris on Friday night, killing at least 127 people and wounding hundreds.

Dr. Harris is quoted in a release from his Press Secretary, Clecton Phillip as saying his country condemns the attacks.

“We reject, in the strongest way possible, any notion that differences are to be resolved by terror and/or the threat of terror,” he said, adding that the country renews its commitment, as a member of the world community of nations and as a people, to unswervingly support global action to eradicate terrorism everywhere.”

Violence, he said, should have no influential value in relation to behaviours, thoughts and attitudes towards each other or in the resolution of normal disagreements among people.
