Public brought up to date on load shedding process

ZIZ News…Wednesday 16 June 2010 – Senior staff from the Needsmust Power Station and the Electricity Department today brought the public up to date on how the current load shedding process is progressing.

ZIZ News visited the Power Station and spoke to Mr Bertil Brown, Acting General Manager of the Electricity Department. Mr Brown explained that the load shedding schedule would have to be extended until the middle of July.

ZIZ News also spoke to Jomo Williams, Acting Superintendent of the Needs Must Power Station. Mr Williams explained that there had been an unforeseen delay in completing the load shedding process.
