Rotary Club of Liamuiga distributes to the needy

(ZIZ)—Just a few days before Christmas the Rotary Club of Liamuiga is already spreading Christmas joy by donating food hampers to the needy.

President Archdeacon Valentine Hodge says this is part of the club’s tradition.

“It’s a joy for us to be able to share the Christmas cheer in this way and we certainly want to appeal to the community to continue to give us the support we need year by year,” he said.

Several businesses and other institution have come onboard to make this donation possible.

“We certainly want to thank our sponsors from the onset, C and C Superfoods, Rams, Premier Dental, Jerry Lewis, and the Taiwanese Embassy,” he said.

The club has donated fifty food bags throughout the island they’re asking for the community’s involvement to make the distribution possible every year.
