Shooting near Movies 3 building

ZIZ Newsroom…Basseterre, St Kitts (July 14, 2010) – The police are investigating a shooting incident at Adlam Street last night.

According to reports at around 9 o’clock last night Sylvester Crossley, Randell Hanley and Erastus Laville of McKnight were sitting near the back of the Movies 3 building when two masked men dressed in all black fired shots.

The young men managed to escape with no injuries. Police have questioned several persons but no-one has been taken into custody.

Meanwhile police are also looking to a case of stolen computers from the Public Works Department this morning. Police responded to call coming in just after 8 am.

According to reports, individual computer components, including CPU’s, monitors and keyboards were stolen from several systems. Altogether the components make up two whole computer systems.

Sources say there was no sign of forced entry.

Investigations are ongoing.
