Singing Francine Arrives in St. Kitts

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, DECEMBER 30TH 2011— Singing Francine out of Trinidad received a warm welcome on Friday morning at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport from the President of the Rotary Club of Liamigua, Peter Jenkins and other Rotary Club Officials.

She is the featured artiste for the Rotary Club New year’s Charity ball which will be held on Saturday 31st December at the Royal St. Kitts Marriot Ballroom.

Honorary Counsel General of Philadelphia Worrell Nero was instrumental in inviting Singing Francine to St. Kitts. He says that he could not think of a better artiste to perform at the Charity event.

Singing Francine who has not performed in St. Kitts for over 20 years says she is prepared to put on a lively show.

“You’re going to get a dynamic, dynamic performance tomorrow night. I have a little bit of parang, a little bit of love songs, a whole lot of music for next year’s carnival, so we’re going to have fun.” she said.

In the afternoon Singing Francine and the members of the Rotary Club visited ZIZ radio for an interview with Radio Dj Ronnie Rascal.

Singing Francine has won numerous calypso monarch titles in Trinidad. She is the sister of King Arrow and is known for hit songs like ‘Christmas Medley’, ‘Parang parang’ and ‘Go brave’.
