SK wins Carnival Queen Pageant

(ZIZ News) — St. Kitts’ Khyla Browne has won the first Miss Caribbean Carnival Queen Pageant.

On Saturday night Miss Browne beat out six other contestants to take the crown with 1566.8 points, winning Best Ambassadorial Wear, Best Swimwear and Best Evening Wear along the way.

First runner up went to Zhane Padmore of Barbados with 1458.1 points. She also won Best Talent and Miss Photogenic.

Miss Nevis, Xarriah Browne took second runner up with 1400 points winning Best Interview as well.

Djennicia Francis of Trinidad and Tobago took third runner up with 1389.6 points.

Miss Guyana, Odessa Grogan won Miss Amity.

The show was held at Carnival Village and was hosted by Judy Dupont and Jamaican internet personality Quite Perry.
