Smile Patrol Visits St Kitts

(ZIZ)– A regional programme that celebrates the selflessness of individuals is coming to St. Kitts to surprise a few lucky locals.

Janique Delmar is the host of Smile Patrol from St. Lucia and while on island she told ZIZ News how they reward ordinary persons who give to their community.

She said, “We come into your islands, we pick them up and we have a great time with them. We take them to spas, restaurants…and we pamper them while saying ‘thank you for your great work and recognizing them.”

She says the show is about more than just giving persons prizes.

“We are here to give hope; to help people to believe in corporate Caribbean, in the governments, in their islands and also in our tourist boards.  Believe in our ministers because they are here for them and for me,” she said.

Delmar says she expects to return in a few months to begin filming and editing.
