St Kitts and Nevis Inaugural Table Tennis Business League 2011

ZIZ News…Oct 26 2011 – The Saint Kitts and Nevis Table Tennis Association (SKNTTA) invites the business houses in St Kitts and Nevis to participate in its 1st Annual Table Tennis Business League which kicks off from Friday 18th November to 16th December 2011 at the St Peters Community Centre from 6:00pm.

The Table Tennis Business League is a fun way for your company to get staff and family involved in a fantastic social sport. The League will cater for all levels of playing ability, from novice to expert and the focus will be on fun, fitness and making new social connections! We anticipate patronage from the sporting clubs within corporate St. Kitts and Nevis and implore you to come out and enjoy the sport of table tennis.

Teams will be comprised of 6 players inclusive of at least one female and an Under-13 player (male or female).The proposed 5-game format is as follows: • 2 Men Singles • 1 Female Single • 1 Mixed Double and 1 Men Double. The Under-13 player on each team will participate in the Business League Junior/Kiddies Open Category.

The SKNTTA can assist businesses (upon request) in adopting an Under-13 player representative if necessary. At the conclusion of the tournament, the winning team will receive a Business League Championship Trophy and a cash prize. The winner will also have the opportunity to select a charity of their choice to which a donation will be made at the conclusion of the tournament.

For a limited time only (October to December 2011) registered teams will be eligible to receive an introductory table tennis clinic of 9 hours (on a prearranged time and place) from the SKNTTA Technical Committee Coaches.
