St. Kitts on special itinerary of Princess Cruise’s smallest ship

BASSETERRE,ST. KITTS, AUGUST 29TH 2012 (CUOPM) – Princess Cruises smallest ship, the Pacific Princess, has included St. Kitts on a Special 10-day itinerary in January next year.

The unique new Caribbean cruise provides an opportunity for travelers looking to get away from the cold January weather.

Sailing from January 17-27, this Eastern Caribbean voyage also offers full-day calls in Antigua and St. Lucia, which features a late evening departure for more time on the island.

“Because Pacific Princess travels the globe, werarely have the opportunity to offer a Caribbean cruise on this popular smallship,” said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruise’s executive vice president. “But because we’re rescheduling the ship’s dry dock, we now have a wonderful chance to offer this unique one-time itinerary option before she takes off on her yearly world cruise.”

Among the in-port opportunities for passengers onthis sailing are tours to Virgin Gorda from Tortola to see the famous geologic formation “The Baths,” as well as the chance to visit UNESCO WorldHeritage sites of Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park on St. Kitts and the dramatic Pitons in St. Lucia.

Passengers will enjoy an intimate cruise experience aboard small ship Pacific Princess. Carrying just 680 passengers, the ship offers a rich selection of amenities, including specialty restaurants Sabatini’s and Sterling Steakhouse.
