St. Kitts Tourism Authority seeking to boost Romance Niche Market

DanielleWeekes-1(ZIZ News) — The St. Kitts Tourism Authority (SKTA) is seeking to build its presence in the weddings niche market and has invited travel agents from across the United States to St. Kitts to aid in the process.

On Tuesday morning, a ZIZ News team visited the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and spoke with Assistant Marketing Manager for the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, Danielle Weekes about their newest project.

“In an effort to do so, we have invited the travel agents to come down and meet with some of our wedding stakeholders. In that way, when they’re sending down their groups in the future, they will be able to recommend these stakeholders to their groups.

“The ladies will also be visiting different sites, doing island tours. They will also be doing a day trip to Nevis while on island. We want to make sure that they’re experiencing the island in its entirety, that way they will be able to sell it the best way they can,” she explained.

The travel agents will be on island until April 24th.
