St. Kitts welcomes Seaborne

(ZIZ) Government and business officials gathered at the airport on Tuesday to officially welcome a new regional airline to St. Kitts.

A special welcome ceremony was held at the RLB International Airport complete with folklore entertainment.

The ceremony inaugurates the daily service between Puerto Rico and St. Kitts with continuing service to Nevis.

Minister of Tourism, The Hon. Richard Skerritt, has expressed pleasure to have Seaborne provide daily service to the federation.

In a previous interview he said “This San Juan service will also add valuable capacity to the system of air bridges we have been developing between St. Kitts & Nevis and various international source markets.”

Seaborne’s Director of Business Development, Mike Ritzi, said their goal is to give customers in the region the quality of air travel that they deserve.

Among those in attendance were Permanent Secretary in the ministry of Tourism Patricia Martin, and CEO of the St. Christopher Air and Seaport Authority, Jonathan Bass.
