Sugar Mas 40:40 hits a highpoint with jamming through the streets of Basseterre

ZIZ News…Dec 25 2011 – Thousands of revelers are expected to hit the streets of Basseterre on Monday December 26 for another street jam, Jouvert morning in St. Kitts, a highlight of the 40:40 Sugar Mas.
This will also be a time for the bands to highlight their Road March songs as they compete for the 2011/12 Road March title.
This year will not be an easy task as all of the bands are sounding quite good and in some cases have registered a number of sings to be played on the road. Apart from the bands there are a number of calypsonians who have registered their songs for the Road March title. The list of Bands, Artistes and Songs registered with the National Carnival Committee for Road March 2011 are:

Carnival is Here Again
The Security Forces are expected to be out in their numbers to enforce the zero tolerance approach to violence during this Carnival season.
