Taiwan’s Director General in Dubai pays courtesy call on PM Douglas

DUBAI, UAE, JULY 12TH 2012 (CUOPM) – Taiwan’s Director General at the Commercial Office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Mr. Azmi Chang Thursday paid a courtesy call on St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas.

Mr. Chang, who was accompanied by Vice consul Tina Lin, expressed pleasure in calling on the St. Kitts and Nevis leader along with Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister Her Excellency Mrs. Astona Browne and Consul General Ms. Alex Woodley.

Mr. Chang said Taiwan has had a presence in Dubai for 28 years and thanked Prime Minister Douglas for the support of his government in the international community.

Prime Minister Douglas and Mr. Chang also discussed the strong relationship between St. Kitts and Nevis and Taiwan.
