Teen shot and killed

(ZIZ News) — The Violent Crimes Unit is currently investigating a shooting incident in Farm Site, Sandy Point that has left a teenager dead.

According to a police report, 19 year old Everette Thomas, was shot and killed at around 8.30pm on Saturday.

The police say the victim was shot several times by an unknown assailant(s).

Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit and the Criminal Investigations Department and technicians from the Forensics Services Unit have canvassed the scene for evidence.

The shooting of Thomas breaks an almost five week period of no murders in the Federation.
