‘Text to Vote’ for Power Soca Finalist opens

ZIZ News…Dec 5 2011 – Following the conclusion of the Beaumont Park Soca Monarch Semi Finals on Friday 2nd December, fans now have the opportunity to text the name of their favourite Power Soca Semi finalist not selected by judges to the Soca Monarch Finals.
Text voting (LIME customers) will open on Monday 5th December at 8am and will remain open until midnight on Thursday 15th December when one non placing Semi finalist receiving the most text votes will be selected to participate in the Soca Monarch Finals.

This promotion is open to individuals 18 and older at a cost of $1.17 per text and is one of the many new initiatives of the late Dwayne Sturge and his team.
The Soca Monarch Finals is scheduled to be held at the “Sugar Mill” on Friday 23rd December and will be dedicated to the memory of Dwayne Sturge.
