JuniorAchievementLogoABasseterre, St. Kitts: Five students, Rayshawn Allen (CEO), Latonya Browne (Assist. CEO), Andelique Golding (Sales Manager and PRO), Shaqueed Benjamin (Assist. Sales Manager and Assist. PRO), and Shawnisa Duggins (Production Manager), accompanied by their teachers Ms. Eunice Greenaway and Ms. Marcia Jeffers, will be representing the BHS Junior Achievement group, and the Federation on a whole, at this distinguished event designed to showcase their entrepreneurial skills as well as their ability to make oral presentations to the media and the public.

The Junior Achievers Worldwide has provided some funding but additional money is needed to assist in making the products, company attire for various presentations, and airline and accommodations for 3 persons in the group.

The Basseterre High School Junior Achievement students have already embarked upon a number of initiatives to offset some of these expenses and would be grateful if other companies, persons and/or entities can assist them in reaching their target goal $20,000(EC) in order to make this trip a reality for some very deserving hardworking students and teachers.

This exercise would be beneficial to the students on various levels, allowing them to learn the cultures of the other students while teaching theirs to the students as well. The students will also be able to learn about best business practices and garner more entrepreneurial skills.

The Basseterre High School are the 3-Peat COY Finalist having represented the Federation in 2012 in Uraguay (with the Washington Archibald High School) and in 2013 in Mexico.

Cheques should be made payable to “Basseterre High School” and in the memo section of the check please put “COY Ecuador”. If you want to donate cash or items from our wish list, please send your telephone information to the following email address: euniceliburd@gmail.com.

We take this opportunity to say thank you for your valuable contribution and wish you every success in your future endeavors

The group will be departing the Federation on November 26th.
