Traffic Accident Resulted In One Person Transported to The Hospital

(ZIZ) On Saturday 5th October 2013 about 6:30 am, personnel of the Traffic Department responded to a report of a traffic accident along the Island’s Main Road at Canada Estate in the CONTEC which resulted in one person being transported to the hospital for medical attention.

Initial investigation revealed that motor car PA 8355 was driven by Maraldo Mitchum of Newtown, travelling towards Basseterre when the vehicle collided to CONTEC fence.

The Traffic Department takes this opportunity on behalf of Commissioner CG Walwyn to encourage motorists to observe the speed limits for the various areas and to drive responsibly in order to avoid accidents.
