Traffic Department investigating minor accident on Bird Rock Road

ZIZ News…March 18, 2013 — Vehicular traffic on a busy Bird Rock Road this morning was interrupted after two vehicles collided in the vicinity of the Silver Jubilee Stadium.

It happened after eight o’clock.

The accident involved a blue passenger bus travelling South on the Bird Rock Road and a white jeep which was travelling in a different direction at the time of the collision. The bus ended up across the road which caused vehicles to divert off the road and the jeep was lodged over in the drain on the left hand side from the impact.

No one was seriously injured but both vehicles received slight damages.

The officers of the traffic department were on the scene carrying out their investigations while traffic wardens conducted the flow of traffic.
