Trelawny vendor shot and injured

Kingston, Jamaica — A 45-year-old vendor was shot at his home in Wakesfield, Trelawny by unknown assailants early Thursday morning.

Reports are that shortly after 12:00 am the man heard a knock at his door and went to make enquiries. He was then attacked by three armed men who opened fire hitting him in the chest.

The vendor was taken to hospital and he is said to be in stable condition.
