Two more cruise ships berth at Port Zante this weekend

Carnival Miracle and Carnival Victory at Port Zante

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 20TH 2011 (CUOPM) – The second of three cruise ships to visit St. Kitts this week will dock at Port Zante on Friday.

The 3,050 passenger capacity Carnival Victory will keep its scheduled visit on Friday and the 2,680-passenger capacity ship Carnival Miracle berths on Saturday.

On Tuesday, the 2,540-passenger capacity Serenade of the Seas brought 2,280 passengers and a crew of 867.

Most of the passengers came ashore and went on sight-seeing tours in Basseterre and island wide via the St. Kitts Scenic Railway, buses or taxis. Scores also headed for the sea and sun bathing on the beaches, snorkeling, sailing, horse back riding and shopping.

A visit by the Carnival Victory next week Friday will end the visits by ships in October, which saw a total of 8 calls from four ships.
