Water rationing continues

(ZIZ News) — The Water Department has had to suspend plans to end water rationing for a portion of the island…at least temporarily.

On Friday, the Water Department issued a release announcing the end of water rationing from Old Road to St. Pauls beginning july 31.

However according to a statement issued on Sunday water rationing will continue in the Phillips, Molineux and Bourryeau communities due to technical issues associated with the newly commissioned well.

The Water Services Department says they are working to address these issues and will update the public as soon as possible.
