Winners announced for ZIZ Poster Competition

(ZIZ Newsroom, Basseterre, St.Kitts, April 7, 2011) – Students from the Irishtown Primary and Deane Glasford Primary schools have taken the top prizes in the ZIZ Radio 50th Anniversary Poster Competition.

Whitnie Collins of Irishtown Primary is the winner of the hand drawn category. She wins $1250. Second place went to Shakeeda Patrick of Joshua Obadiah Primary School who takes home $750. Calnella Nias of Irishtown Primary took third place and a $500 prize.

Ijaz Bass of Deane Glasford Primary won the computer generated category and $1000. Lovell and Sabrina Sutton won second place and $750.

Other upcoming 50th anniversary activities include a song competition, and an awards banquet.
