Youths beat their Critics while Spooners and Breweries draw

Sports Page—Tuesday 10th September 2013–Carib Breweries underestimated the Spooners team and allowed what they thought was a good 2 goal cushion to slip and in the end had to settle for yet another draw in the Green Valley League.

The current Business league champs scored early goals from I. McSheene and C. Archibald to go into half time interval 2-0 up.

On the resumption Spooners roared back, first Errol O’louglin found the back of the net in the 56th minute then Clinton “Tinnie” Percival grabbed the equalizer 10 minutes later.

On Saturday Youths survived all the threats hurled at them by Little Loxs and defeated them comprehensively 2-0. Alexis Bedford and Nigel Thom both made up for earlier misses to score in the second half to give the youth a well deserved victory.

The Green Valley League continues on Tuesday with a clash between Waterworks and Keys.
