In the SKNFA Division One League Village Galaxy and Molineux Pitbulls both produced ruthless performances on Wednesday night at The Gardens — Galaxy’s stunning 5-0 demolition of Security Forces United strengthens their grip on the final playoff spot, while Molineux’s 4-1 win over Conaree Fireball International puts them right back in the conversation.

Galaxy put five past Security Forces to cement fourth place
Village Galaxy were in spectacular form on Wednesday evening, running out emphatic 5-0 winners against Security Forces United in the opening fixture at The Gardens. It was a statement performance from a side determined to hold on to their fourth-place playoff position — and the five-goal margin also does wonders for their goal difference, which could yet prove decisive in the tight race for the top four. For Security Forces United, the heavy defeat continues a difficult end to their season.
Molineux make their case with four-goal display
Molineux Pitbulls followed up with an equally impressive display, defeating Conaree Fireball International 4-1 in the late fixture to move themselves right back into the playoff picture. Molineux currently sit sixth but the gap to fourth place is now very much within reach — and after a performance this convincing, the clubs above them will be taking notice. Conaree, on the other hand, continue to struggle and their campaign looks set to end without a top-four finish.
Wednesday’s results set up a fascinating remainder of Match Week 16. On Thursday, league leaders Lodge Patriots host third-placed Trinity/Challengers United at 6:00 PM in what promises to be a defining fixture in the title race — before the week concludes on Sunday when Saddlers United take on second-placed Garden Hotspurs at 4:00 PM. The playoff race in Division One has never been more intense.
