Antiguans among top regional students

(Antigua Observer) Antigua and Barbuda’s Shamere Yearwood is the region’s top CAPE student in Information Technology.

The second year Antigua State College student not only recorded the best score in Unit 2 IT, but also the sixth highest score in Biology.

Fellow local second year student, Ashleigh Knight, earned the third highest score in the Unit 2 Law exam, while Dante Benjamin has the ninth highest for Law Unit I

The county can also boast of top marks in the CSEC examinations.

Brittany Angelique Noon of the Christ the King Secondary School emerges second in the region in French.

Sergii Padalka of the St Anthonys Secondary is fifth in Information Technology, and Michlene Zouter of Christ the King came eighth in Integrated Science and sixth in Electronic Document Preparation and Management.

Jamoy Barrington of the Antigua Grammar School is eighth in the region in music.

The CAPE and CSEC merit lists rank the top ten students in the region in individual subject areas.
