BASSETERRE — The Antioch Baptist Church on Sunday presented awards to six women for their service in ministry, honoring members from two additional denominations alongside its own congregation.
Gov. Gen. Dame Marcella Liburd distributed the awards during the ceremony, which was led by Pastor Lincoln Connor. Foreign Affairs and Consumer Affairs Minister Denzil Douglas and staff from the Department of Consumer Affairs also attended.
Four of the six recipients are members of the Antioch Baptist Church. The other two are affiliated with the Church of God of Prophecy and the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
