BASSETERRE: The St. Kitts & Nevis Robotics Association has promoted Ms. Lavonne Boddie from Programme Director to Executive Director, marking a significant leadership transition for the technology-focused organization.
Boddie’s elevation recognizes her instrumental work in developing SKNRA’s educational initiatives and youth programs. In her previous role, she demonstrated strong organizational capabilities and a commitment to innovation that helped drive the Association’s expansion across the Federation.
As Executive Director, Boddie will manage daily operations and collaborate with leadership on strategic planning. Her responsibilities include ensuring effective program delivery and advancing SKNRA’s core mission of community empowerment through robotics and STEAM education.
“Her experience in program management positions her well to drive operational excellence and continued growth within SKNRA,” the Association stated in announcing the appointment.
The promotion reflects SKNRA’s confidence in Boddie’s ability to strengthen the organization’s impact throughout St. Kitts & Nevis. Her background in executing outreach programs and managing youth-focused activities provides a solid foundation for the expanded leadership role.
SKNRA continues its work promoting technology education and robotics training as tools for community development. Under Boddie’s direction, the Association aims to build on its existing programs while exploring new opportunities to engage residents in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
The leadership change positions SKNRA for its next phase of growth as it works to make technology education more accessible across the twin-island nation.
