ZIZ News — Carnival contestants and officials took to the road on Saturday for a motorcade event dubbed the Carnival Bar Crawl.
The bar crawl travels around St. Kitts bringing the spirit of Sugar Mas to each community along the way.
The convoy of vehicles began at Port Zante and made its way along the Island Main Road stopping at various bars and other establishments in the villages along the route.
At each stop persons were given an opportunity to interact with the contestants in the various competitions and even get a photo taken.
The Bar Crawl has become an annual Carnival fixture which aims to spread the spirit of Sugar Mas beyond Basseterre and throughout the entire island.
