Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 7, 2022 (ZIZ Newsroom) — Reigning National Carnival Queen Nekirah Nicholls will be representing the federation in the upcoming Miss Jaycees Queen Show.
The pageant will take place on July 27 at Carnival City at the Antigua Recreation Grounds at 8 pm.
This is the 59th production of the Queen show and will be held under the theme “Unleashing the potential within through resilience and determination”.
The other contestants are Nia St. Claire of Montserrat, Briana Anthony of Antigua & Barbuda, Emmanuella Michel of Haiti, Chronna Khan of Trinidad & Tobago, and Wenia Verneuil of St. Lucia.
The Jaycees Queen Show was founded in 1961 and is staged yearly by JCI Antigua.
According to its Facebook page, the pageant’s mission is to empower women through pageantry.
