CXC Press Conference

The Ministry of Education will be holding a press conference on Wednesday to update the public on the performance of local students in the 2018 CXC exams.

The press conference will be held at the parliamentary lounge at government headquarters and begins at 2pm.

The panel will include Minister of Education, the Hon. Shawn Richards; Permanent Secretary, William Hodge; local Registrar, Solomon Claxton; and a representative from the Ministry of Education on Nevis.

According to Minister Richards, the officials will release information on the CAPE results for students at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant college and the Nevis sixth form as well as private students and relocated students from the British Virgin Islands, Dominica and Anguilla.

For CSEC there will also be results for HMP inmates, residents at New Horizons, private candidates and dislocated students.

Minister Richards said they will also give an idea on the top performers from secondary schools and top performers overall for CSEC and CAPE.
