Duggins Highlights Progress at Press Conference

BASSETERRE: Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Marine Resources and Cooperatives, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Sports and The Creative Economy and Entertainment and The Arts, the Hon. Samal Duggins, hosted the government’s Quarter 3 Press Conference yesterday morning. under the theme “Beyond Boundaries, Breaking Barriers.”

The quarterly briefing showcased achievements across multiple ministry portfolios through highlight reels and presentations. Minister Duggins emphasized that each quarter of 2025 has told a distinct chapter of the government’s journey, progressing from “Vision. Action. Results.” to “Raising the Standard,” and now culminating in the current theme of breaking barriers and pushing beyond traditional boundaries.

The press conference featured comprehensive updates on three key ministry areas: Sports and the Creative Economy; Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources; and Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Cooperatives. Minister Duggins highlighted the administration’s commitment to transparency and public engagement through these regular quarterly updates.
