EBJ Harmonics Captures Historic Sixth Pan Title

BASSETERRE — The Bank of Nevis EBJ Harmonics Steel Orchestra has made history, securing an unprecedented sixth consecutive Panorama championship at Sugar Mas 51 with their stunning rendition of “Retro” by Voice.

The dominant performance earned Harmonics 424 points at Warner Park Cricket Stadium on December 28, leaving runners-up Nevis Development Steel Orchestra trailing with 381 points—a commanding 43-point margin that underscored their supremacy.

“Congratulations to The Bank of Nevis EBJ Harmonics Steel Orchestra: 6-Peat Winner,” organizers announced, celebrating what has now become a six-peat dynasty in the First Federal and The Cable-sponsored competition.

The victorious steel pan arrangement of Voice’s “Retro” captivated audiences with its powerful execution, cementing Harmonics’ reputation as the Federation’s premier steel orchestra. Four bands competed in total, with Sugar City Steel Orchestra performing Ricardo Drue’s “Iron,” Oualie Rhythmz tackling Black Stalin’s “Black Man Feeling to Party,” and Nevis Community Development presenting Ellie Matt & The GI’s Brass classic “Teacher Teacher.”
