BASSETERRE: Goals flowed freely in the final week of the 2025 Elvis Star Brown Women’s League on Sunday, October 19th, as three matches produced a combined 36 goals across different venues.
At the Atiba Harris Sports Complex in St. Peter’s, league leaders MSCR United All Road Lady Jets delivered a commanding performance, defeating St. Peter’s Blue Angels 19-0. The dominant display sent a clear message to playoff contenders.
Lady Jets player Kiara Francis acknowledged the victory but maintained high standards. “We played well, but could have done better,” she said, noting the team’s readiness for the playoffs beginning October 29th.
Despite the heavy loss, St. Peter’s Blue Angels remained positive about their season. Player Janique Pemberton highlighted the team’s growth and unity. “Every game we improved and I’m glad for that,” she said. “We don’t argue. We just have fun and we’re getting better at it.”
At Newtown playing field, Honda Newtown United crushed Security Forces FC 10-0. Sharima Blake led the scoring with four goals, while Kaitlyn Forbes contributed a hat-trick. Kimira Brown, Omeri Delaney, and Janiqua Henry also found the net.
In Nevis, Cayon Rockets continued their strong form with a 7-0 victory over Hot Springs Bath United at the Nevis Athletic Stadium.
Old Road Lady Jets top the standings with 25 points, followed by Cayon Rockets on 22 points and defending champions Honda Newtown United with 18 points. Security Forces FC occupy fourth place with 9 points and are positioned to make their first playoff appearance, sitting six points ahead of Bath United with one match remaining.
The league continues Wednesday with final matches before the playoffs.
