Nevis’ Tourism Minister and Deputy Premier, Hon. Mark Brantley said his government continues to roll out projects that will aid in the island’s development.
He said, “I’m very happy today to be here and to be alive to witness this yet another development, breaking ground under this new government. We made a pledge and a commitment to the people of Nevis that we will ensure that activity and economic expansion comes and I am very, very happy to say that we have sought valiantly to keep that commitment and that today marks yet another project that we see being delivered for the people of Nevis.”
“Today is indeed a momentous day for a litany of reasons,” he said, adding that “First, it underscores the fact that the Federation and as exemplified here today, Nevis in particular, continues to have global appeal. A scant review of the market in Nevis has informed me that over the past few years, several other Chinese investors have not only established business here in Nevis but they have also decided to make Nevis their home.”
